Hi there
I know what calories I'm meant to be eating as my pt worked it out for me.... But my fella needs to lose some weight too... He is 6ft 2inches and currently weighs 16stone 2lbs. How is the best way to workout how many calories to put him on to try and lose some
Weight?
Any help anyone can give me will be greatly appreciated
Many thanks

TDEE vs. BMR
BMR - basal metabolic rate ..... calories needed if you stayed in bed all day

TDEE - total daily expenditure .... calories you use based on activity level (including) exercise

Many people here on MFP use TDEE less a % ...... start with 20% ......but make sure he is above BMR + exercise.0 -
Thanks for that I will try and work it out for him off that website!! ????0
