Fit by New Years 2013 Challenge - Open group

Not done a challenge in ages so with September looming why not!
This will be a new month and a fresh start to give ourselves that kick to get into our New Year garms that little bit faster.

The goal is to lose as many lbs as you can before the end of the year but to try and attain a minimum 1lb loss and to burn at least 2000 calories a week using any method you enjoy that will keep you motivated. I plan to weigh in once a week on Sunday's but you can choose any day you wish, go with what works best for you.

We will begin 1st September and conclude 29th December and this is an open group across the globe with no limits so you can join at any time, the more the merrier to keep us pumped and supporting each other and every week I will throw in an optional mini challenge for that extra push I know we all will crave. :wink:

If you're interested input your stats below and remember we're here to have fun as well as get fit and this is a space to share your tips or highs as well as your lows so don't worry if you've not reached a week's target the fact that your here and trying is super awesome.

Methods I'll use: Turbofire, ChaLean Extreme, Swimming, Spinning, Walking & (if insane enough) a little Insanity.
Personal challenge is to work out 5 days a week without fail.

Something about me: I am a bit of a gamer and love love love playing The Sims 3 and collect retro game consoles.

    Methods I'll use:
    Workout DVDs at home (Jillian Michaels and Extreme Makeover Weightloss Edition and Zumba) when I can or if I miss the gym one day
    Boxing 1x/week when I can
    Swimming maybe 1x/week
    Gym (at least 1 hour of cardio and weights) at least 4-5x/week
    Jumping rope 10 minutes/day (increasing as my stamina increases)

    How I'm going to do it:

    *cutting out soda entirely.
    *at least 3 days at the gym
    *kettlebell workouts
    *eating as clean as I can
    *try out my Jillian Michaels dvd's
