It's one year today that I decided to change my life. I set several goals and have met them. It's been work but has been rewarding. I started at 198 lbs. and now weigh between125 and 130 lbs. I am no longer on any medication and the last blood test were excellent. I am now able to wear my wedding rings. I started wearing tight xl clothes. Pull up pants and oversized blouses. In Dec. was wearing size14 Jan size 12 Feb size10 Apr started wearing size 8 comfortably. I now wear jeans and pants with a zipper and fitting blouses. I have done this on my own with no pills or diet programs. Started eating healthier and lots of exercise. Still have a ways to go as I want to tone up more. I have heard it all as I am to skinny I need to gain some weight. my favorite is you have lost a ton of weight. my reply is I have lost weight but never weighed a ton. I can't say I feel better as I never felt bad before I lost weight. But I know I am Healthier and happier. I like getting up in the morning and looking in the mirror and saying this is the real me.

Happy First Year! It's mine as well. A year ago I was 50 pounds heavier than I am now and I couldn't fit any of my favorite rides at the local amusement park. As silly as it sounds, that was what motivated me to commit to making a serious change. I downloaded the MFP app a year ago and started using it immediately. I was now able to count the calories and fat grams that were going into my body, so it made me a lot more conscious of what I ate to not only stay under my daily goal, but to also aim for staying way below that number. I've bounced up and down like everyone, of course, and I could probably add a lot more exercise to my weekly activity, but overall I'm happy with the progress I continue to make, and it sounds like you are too.
Congratulations again on your outstanding commitment to being fit and healthy!0 -
