What do you do with Nutella?

I'll be honest. I love spoonfuls straight out of the jar.0

Yesterday I had some mixed with plain greek yogurt. I dipped strawberries in it. It was a party in my face.0

Open jar, insert spoon.0

I make my own:

I usually spread it on waffles/bagels and pile on banana slices for breakfast.0 -
Oh, yum. Mom just bought me some. Gotta make brownies...0

You throw it directly in the trash.
My thoughts EXACTLY. I grew up on Nutella and always thought it was "healthy" and "natural" but have you ever read the ingredients? CRAP. Go buy some real hazelnut butter or Almond butter. Tasty AND it won't stick to your insides0 -
I can explain what to do with Nutella in 6 easy steps
1. Grab a spoon and eat it from the jar.
2. Place the spoon in the sink/clean it and put the jar back on the shelf
3. Leave the kitchen only to return with the taste of Nutella still dancing on your tongue
4. Check your macros to see if you can spare any more for another 'smidge'
5. Grab the same spoon or a new one and dig in again.
6. Promise that this is the last. (Repeat steps 1-6 again)
...and THAT is why I'm not allowed to keep Nutella in my house. ^__^0 -
Eat it straight out of the jar with a spoon.
^This. But I can have teaspoon and then walk away.0 -
I hide it behind the rice cooker so I'm not tempted to eat it all. Because girl, I can eat it ALL in one sitting if I wanted to LOL0
-
I add it to Fage greek yogurt. I especially love the Fage with raspberry on the side -- Nutella and raspberries!
:drinker:0 -
Stare at it longingly at the grocery store and keep walking.
That is exactly what I do....but while wiping a single tear from my eye as I walk away.0 -
Greek Yogurt
1 scoop chocolate protein powder
1-2 (or more!!) tbsp Nutella
Mix well, Freeze for a bit, ENJOY :-)
Edited to add: I do the same with PB2 and other flavour powders.0 -

Yes, Nutella is definitely the archetypal food that one cannot leave alone once started.
I'm in your boat and leave it in the shop - no matter how loud the call is to put it in the basket.0 -
Sorry! Couldn't help myself .0 -
Eat it straight out of the jar with a spoon.

Why not?0 -
Lol at the replies.
I had some with my oats. It was actually kinda disappointing... tasted more like chocolate than hazelnut. I probably ruined it by putting a bit of almond milk too.
I've tried with Greek yogurt and I was disappointed too. I think the best so far is still straight out of the jar, on toast, or in crepes...0 -

^^^THIS!
I cannot have that stuff in moderation, so I leave it in the store. It would be better if someone else in my house would help me eat it, but they don't. My daughter has a nut allergy and her brother (being the totally awesome boy he is) wont eat nuts to make sure she doesn't feel left out.
Hubby doesn't care for it, so that leaves me. And if there is a jar in the house, It joins me on the couch, with a loaf of fiber one honey wheat bread and a spoon and it doesn't leave until its empty.

Throw it in the GARBAGE RIGHT AWAY!!!!!!!!!! DO NOT EVEN STOP TO THINK ABOUT IT!!!! :noway: :noway:
WHY!?0 -
Put it on whole grain waffle, graham crackers or rice cakes. Or for an extra reward I just eat a spoonful. It is wonderful stuff. Can't wait to try the cupcakes0
-
I have some, it's sitting in the pantry. I've never even tried it. I'm sure it's wonderful but I prefer to use my calories elsewhere.0
-
in a tortilla wrap with banana and peanut butter. amazing breakfast.0
-
You throw it directly in the trash.
ditto0 -
Lick it off of your fingers, smear it on fruit or a tortilla, eat it by the spoonful, eat it by the jar. YUM!0
-
eat it.0
-
it makes me feel a million times better that i'm not the only who eats it straight out of the jar. spoon, knife, finger. it makes no difference.0
-
I love it on toast or on pancakes :-) Straight from the jar is even better but I try not to.. I currently have the 630g jar in the house after not having bought any in quite a while, this is actually the only food I have trouble with eating it in moderation because it's SOOOO damn good!
There's this wholesale store I occasionally go to, and apart from the regular sized jars you see in supermarkets they also have this HUGE 5kg jar (11lbs!) Every time I just have to stop and stare at it0
