I have viewed and performed in many musicals written from the 1940's on and it's not with small shock that I say my favorite musical was from the end of the 20th century!
Les Miserables is unique in its staging, beautiful in it's telling of a classic story and the harmonies used in that music are mind blowing. I was so sad when in its last tour they chose not to use the rotating stage which after seeing many times still took my breath away.0 -
