  • Best show I have seen is Wicked, it was amazing, the best musical film has got to be Grease for childhood memories, or Singin' in the rain.
  • Okay, I am completely amazed at the number of people who like Seven Brides for Seven Brothers. I really thought I was the only dork who ever watched it!

    Nice thread!!

I like My Fair Lady, but I hated the way it ended. I remember really vividly when I first saw Moulin Rouge.

I agree re: My Fair Lady. It ruined an otherwise perfect story.

    No definitive fave here ..
We had some small local productions here, They're playing our song (Music by Lucy Arnaz Jr.)
There was a Marilyn Monroe one too but the title escapes me.

As for films, I'm a bit corny with the ones I most think back on ..
The Pirate movie, Grease/Grease2, Cry Baby, A Chorus Line,
Cotton Club (love that one) .. there are others but my brain is asleep.

Oh! I forgot Cry Baby! Definitely goes on my list.

    Les Mis. No question.

Although I love musicals and I don't think I've ever seen one I truly disliked. Okay, maybe Cats. Yeah, Cats was awful.

I volunteer at our local theater so I can see all of the Broadway series shows for free! Totally excited about seeing Book of Mormon this year!

Love Les Miserables. I've seen it on stage 3 times, the definition of Epic.

    Rocky Horror Picture Show.

    This!
It's just a jump to the left.
And then a step to the right.
With your hands on your hips.

You bring you knees in tight.
    But it's the pelvic thrust...
    That really drives you insane
