Can't be the same man -- must be photoshopped ;-)
Seriously, I felt EXACTLY the same as you when I was in the 360s at only 5ft 3. Your description of the bingeing, the feeling stuffed till sick and yet still hollow inside. The sense of outrage at the world, at the shops, the shoddy clothes -- that could almost be ME talking. I recall being forced to shop, like you, only at one special store and pay top money for rubbish --- a button fell off and a hem stitching came apart when I merely tried something on! Like you I was angry at having my clothes "chosen" for me. In my case it was everything offered was black, grey or navy, yet I longed for scarlet jeans, yellow tee shirts and bright orange dresses! It's different now, with the internet I now have bright clothes!
So HOW did you lose? How did you get control of your over-eating?0 -
I'm so proud of you. You look amazing and thanks for sharing your story.
My fiance's top weight was 390 and now he weighs 230 lb. Not as big of a loss as yours but still an amazing transformation :-)0 -

I only had time to skim, but I plan on reading your whole story when I have more time. What a tremendous accomplishment! I would love to hear from you again in 6 months or so to find out how you're managing your maintenance. Congrats on the new you!0

Wow!! What can I say? When I first started to read your story I thought this guy can write!!! As I read on you despair and pain captivated me! I found myself thinking how much pain the people around me must be in and was drawn into compassion! You my friend are an amazing human being!! I'm so happy for you!! Congrats on creating the life you wanted, enjoy your ride!! :drinker:0

I had only seen the picture and didn't even read... so I went back to read because you had taken the time to write it, so I need to take the time to read it... and I'm SO glad I did!!! You had me in tears. I can't tell you how many times I've done that walk of shame. I hate the clothes I have to wear, the clothes I'm forced to wear because the smaller clothes... the cuter clothes are too small for me. It makes me angry that just because you are big/obese, they expect you to not care what you look like. Then it dawned on me.... that is the one thing that can push me.... because I want to wear those cute clothes, not those horrible *tent* looking clothes that make me look like a damn clown.
Could I ask you what you did in those 19 months (besides saying no to fast food) to change your life?
Congratulations.... I'm just in complete awe of you!0 -
"Christ, more skulls" made me laugh!
