I know, I know, I'm breaking the rules, but I couldn't do just 3. Music is half of my fuel for running. Maybe more. Thanks to everyone else for good suggestions!

    Fluorescent Adolescent - Arctic Monkeys
Howlin' for You - The Black Keys
This Head I Hold - Electric Guest
    Feel Good Inc. - Gorillaz
    Shake it - Metro Station
My Time (Has Come) - The Twilight Singers

I know this sounds awful and self-defeating, but my long standing favourite workout song is U.G.L.Y by Daphne and Celeste. It amuses me. :embarassed:

I usually listen to audiobooks or podcasts while I run. Lately I'm listening to The Leviathan Chronicles, an awesome audio drama I highly recommend. Previously I finished listening to Digital Magic by Philippa Ballantine, also an audio drama but not quite on the same scale as Leviathan Chronicles. For podcasts I like The Bugle, Read it and Weep, This American Life, Skeptics Guide to the Universe, and Astronomy Cast.

I love music, but I'm actually terrible at picking out my own. I've always had artsy friends to do it for me, but I have fewer of those these days and those ones are busy with their own things.

Still, audiodramas are absolutely fantastic. ;)

    Sweat-Snoop and David Guetta
    Porn Star Dancing-My Darkest Days

    Push It-Salt-n-Pepper
    The Thong Song-Sisqo (hehe)

I use Pandora. I created a couple I go to normally depending on my mood. If you create a Sunshine by Lil Flip station it's got 90s popular rap. But lately when I haven't been feeling so gangster, I've created a Goldfinger station and that's a lot of ska/punk.. whatever you want to call it ... Faster paced music to keep me moving.

Not really specific songs, but I have some of the Steady130 mixes, I believe 150 or 160 bpm.
Nice music, steady rythm for my footfalls, just put one on and gogogo.

I tend to put Pandora on my phone while I run. Gwen Stefani channel never ceases to motivate, but here is a great list of workout channels that could also give ideas for your playlists:

Good to know I'm not the only one that listens to audiobooks while walking/running.
I'm currently listening to Skulduggery Pleasant book 8.

    Top songs though are:
    "Propane Nightmares" by Pendulum

Most of the "Invaders Must Die" album by The Prodigy

"I Love It" by Icono Pop (I can't be that old, I still like modern music)

"Going Crazy" by Robbie Williams / Dizzie Rascal

My boyfriend will find this hilarious when he reads this because we are always joking about our age difference, but I love to work out to swing music from the 1920s and 1930s. Lol, what can I say? I was close with my grandmother and great grandmother, and I guess their music tastes rubbed off on me. :)

Swing music is great to run to. I love it, it makes me so happy and bouncy. But then again, I also swing dance, so that might be why. The classics are good, but I also have a lot of Big Bad Voodoo Daddy, they have some good running songs.
