    My dad was in from Illinois this past week 9/3-9/9 so wasn't able to stick as close to my diet as I wanted over the weekend. :blushing: He took my family and I out for 3 meals over the weekend. :drinker: I tried to make better choices but I know that eating out is worse than at home.:grumble: Saturday at lunch instead of having a 500 and something calorie hamburger plus fries, we had a 380 calorie sub and I enjoyed it much better. Where I wouldn't have thought twice before and went ahead and had the side salad 200-250 and a wrap 260-440 (Total would have been 460-690):noway: thinking that was a better choice at a fast food place. I had less calories eating the sub 380. Having all these apps at your finger tips is really helpful. I did eat 3 small fried fish fillets Saturday night when he took us out but I tried the grilled and it tasted like cardboard. Couldn't handle that. Sunday I left the top of the bun off of a pulled pork sandwich at a Bar-B-Que restaurant and opted to not get sides and drank water. I drink water out all the time now saving calories and money. :smile: I'm saving so many calories not having my FAVORITE SWEET TEA! Which I used to drink by the gallons. Saving money on tea and sugar too. I still drink my tea in the evenings just a glass or two UNSWEET! I'm still a southern girl and have to have my tea. HA Even though I didn't stick as close as I had been staying way under my 1330 calories, I still stayed within my calories. so I feel good about that. :happy: Good luck every one to losing lots in September and the rest of the year too.
