walking vs stationary bike

so MFP says I can burn more calories on a stationary bike than walking? Does this sound off to anyone else? just doesn't seem right.

The calorie burns on MFP are so over inflated and can vary so wildly from person to person it's insane. I think it's more important to do whichever you can enjoy more at a longer, more intense pace. Personally I would recommend walking bc you can slowely graduate from a brisk to intense to jog to run as you improve but to each their own.0

I don't use the MFP estimates, but I burn more on the stationary bike than I do walking (calculated with HRM). A stationary bike workout can be quite intense if you work hard and use some resistance or do intervals. I am sure it varies from person to person though.0

Same for me. I use a HRM to track my cals burned and I always burn more on the bike than I do walking.0
