Why Are Some Success Stories Deactivated?

MFP secretly persecutes these posters for their success. If they share their success tips, more users will be successful and end up quitting. It is a conspiracy to keep us all fat and clicking ads.

Do YOU plan on being on this site for the rest of your life?
I do. This is my home and Iit here.
Me too. Howdy Neighbor! Do you have a cup of ketones I could borrow?

Many of us lose our sanity.
It starts out innocently enough... The occasional dream about raspberry keytones or musings over the mystery of what exactly is or isn't water. Then it may progress to raging debates with people who want to quit because they plateaued for one day. Some of us can resist the temptation of repeatedly answering the same question time and time again to preserve peace of mind, others end up cowering in the corner with their muscular bulky bodies repeatedly defending their dirty dirty eating diet in their tormented minds. If they are lucky, the latter may have a loving spouse or friend who stage an intervention to assist them in their deactivation.0 -
I imagine because sometimes reading inane threads or questions can escalate from this...
to this...
TETSUO!!!!
To be fair, the guy may have had some underlying issues.0 -

Don't know you, totally off topic, but where is your hard hat? :drinker:0 -
Yo.
Lots of "Success Stories" abound ....
Many folks just don't post them to the boards. Perhaps they should, but the forums do indeed get "complicated". Unnecessarily complicated.
And yes .. folks do move on. I've been here going on 1000 days and I have several peeps who have been around working and being part of the community for 500++ days.
Good luck to you !

Maybe they gained all their weight back and were embarrassed by all the FR when people read their success stories.0

Nah, I'll bet most got driven to strikeable gifs when constantly answering post about how weights make you bulky and you should only eat clean.
I bet lots come back under different identities and stay well clear of the derp that is the forums, enjoying their continuing success with their weight and lifting and sharing it with only a small group of derp free friends. :flowerforyou:0 -
I ate them. Hence why I'm still here.0

Or maybe they deactivated and created a new account.
This. I know at least 2 people who have lost a lot of weight and have done this.0 -
Too many threads like this, and they finally moved to other sites or offline to get away from the derp

A lot of them simply get reported by a bunch of newbs who know nothing and get offended when successful individuals try to help (sometimes with a bit of sarcasm and/or a blunt and straight forward manner). You can pretty much guarantee that the more posts someone has and the more success someone has had, the closer they are to getting banned from MFP forums. Once that happens, why keep an account?
If it was up to the newbs, it would just be all newbs here and they would simply support each other with rainbows and cuddles...and blowing smoke up each others butts.
This is probably the most likely reason.0 -
