    To start off...
    - I'm very fussy about bananas. They have to be perfectly ripe but not too much so, and not squashed or otherwise presented as something that resembles my own vomit

Same here! The tip must still have the slightest hint of green... as soon as brown spots show up, into the freezer they go for smoothies or baking. I also hate the strings that separate from the skin if you don't peel it oh-so-carefully... they make me want to gag.

I like pickles, but not in or on things. If they are on a sammich for instance, I take them off and eat them separately. Same with raisins, get them the hell out of my cookies and oatmeal! Don't even get me started on rice pudding with raisins. Bleh.. for some reason I am ok with them in carrot cake though. Probably because it's cake.

Tomatoes are the opposite. I like a nice thick slice of tomato on a sammich or veggie burger, but hate them raw by themselves... especially cherry/grape tomatoes! Way to ruin a good salad...

Hate cilantro for the most part. Unless it's done exactly right, it's the only thing I can taste in a dish and it reminds me of stinkbugs.

Cooked broccoli? All day erra'day. Raw broccoli? Heeeeeell naw

Liverwurst - now, I haven't eaten meat in over 14 years but I tried it once when I was a kid and the ghastly taste/texture still haunts me to this day... *shudder*

Avocado. I have no problem with the taste, but I just can't deal with the texture.
Anise or Fennel - I hate the taste.
    Lamb shank.
Mushrooms, unless they are part of a complete dish (on a pizza, in a sauce, etc.) No grilled Portobello sandwiches for me!

I hate chocolate and sweets, brr..helps with diet :)
  • any kind of meat or seafood

    olives

    beer

    raw tomato
  • Celery.

I'm like a bloodhound when it comes to smell, and I can't stand celery because of just one component. Some types of flowers also have a similar scent mixed in them and I can't even walk past some of them without gagging. I really want to like celery, but I'm just not able to.

Other than that, I'm not picky at all. I'm a big time foodie and would eat pretty much anything--almost fully formed chicken/duck foetuses, smoked large insects, scorpions, etc.

I hate watermelon. The only thing worse than watermelon is more watermelon. Sticky watery seedy mess..ugh.
  • Mcdonalds. Won't eat that crap. Even the smell makes me sick. I can't eat anything with cream of mushroom in it--threw it up once. I won't eat cake or coconut. Bananas that are too ripe or too green. Pork chops, olives, or sauerkraut. I hate bratwurst and liver and onions.

I don't think there are any foods I refuse to eat because of my diet, if that's what you mean. There are plenty of foods I won't eat because I hate them or they gross me out. LOL

    beets (so disgusting)
radishes (I want to like them, but they taste like spicy dirt to me)
    cabbage (any form)
    onions (HATE)
    veal (grosses me out)
    grape leaves (ugh)
    clams (ew)

That's not an exhaustive list, but those are things I really just won't eat. I love lots of fruits, veggies, lean meats, almost any kind of cheese, etc. I just don't like some things. Especially onions. And beets.

    Ketchup yuck
  • I don't like veggies, but there are some that I can tolerate long enough to digest. However, there are four in particular that I refuse to eat.

    -Celery
    -Cauliflower
-BOILED carrots.. which is weird because I can eat raw carrots all day
-Brussel sprouts ...just can't stomach the texture.

i also refuse to eat coleslaw of any kind because of the texture.

I'm a big lover of sweets, but I'm picky about which ones I will and won't eat.

-I refuse to eat any doughnut that is stuffed with a custard or jelly. To be honest, I only like PLAIN glazed (no sprinkles or any of that fancy, schmancy stuff) and cake doughnuts. I also can't stand cinnamon buns or honeybuns, but almost everything else is fair game dessert wise......Wait *edit* Jello. I refuse!!.

    I'm very picky, myself...

I love fresh strawberries, but I don't like anything strawberry-flavored.
    I hate anything grape flavored.
    I hate tomatoes.
The only veggies I like are spinach, artichokes, cucumbers, asparagus, potatoes, and white corn.
I like my white corn steamed on the cob.
    I hate capers.
    I hate mushrooms.
    I hate coconut.
    I hate dark chocolate.
    I don't like cooked fruit.

All that being said, my husband is a professional chef; he will always tell me that he "needs" to put something in for the flavor, which I completely understand, and I trust him. He just makes sure that if he's cooking with something he knows I don't typically like, he will chop it into tiny pieces or masserate it so that I pretty much can't even tell or notice...and he gets the flavor profile he's looking for for whatever he happens to be cooking.

Cheese (and pretty much most other dairy) - it's not worth the agony afterwards.

I'm not picky, so really the only things I don't eat are things that put me into binge mode. Can't do gummy bears, baked desserts like cookies (except fig newtons), doughnuts, or pop-tarts. Probably more to that list, but that's what I can think of now. One taste of those things and all rationality is out the window. Fortunately ice cream doesn't do that to me :D

  • Mushrooms
    Raw onions
    Stewed tomatoes
    Olives
    Pork
    Veal
Foie Gras (saw a video of poor ducks being force-fed by machine and that killed any curiosity I had for this)
    Sushi
    Dark Chocolate (too bitter)

Okra, zucchini, macaroni and cheese, anything Mexican, tofu, rice cakes, fried fish, mushy pasta, cooked tomatoes/tomato paste/ketchup, sushi, avocados, tuna, mayonnaise. None of the above, ever.

There are lots of things I don't like and won't eat.

Over-ripe bananas, cottage cheese, fatty and/or grisly meat (the fat texture grosses me out), black licorice, organ meat, eggs (scrambled or fritattas are maybes if they're filled full of something to make them not taste like eggs), slimy cooked greens, okra, potato salad, fish, seaweed,
