plank, how long can you do it?

Are you all doing the plank in hands or elbows? I haven't tried elbows is it easier or harder than hands?0

I usually do hands, but this time I did elbows. It seems a little harder to me on elbows, but it might just be that it's not what I'm used to.0

update: On Valentine's Day, I turned on L-O-V-E by Nat King Cole 2 minutes and 31 glorious, melodic seconds! About 1/2 the class did a plank the entire time (average age about 62)
So maybe instead of a time goal, pick a song, and last the song. People were singing instead of groaning. It was great!0 -

Elbow plank is harder because the force of gravity is more. You are more parallel to the ground.0 -

I currently do this in fitness at school. And today I did it for 3.10. First time i've done it in a year or so. So this is my benchmark. I've heard it kills the next day tho... oh dear. But 37 minutes. It shall be done! haha0

My front plank PR is 8:02.
I usually only do 4-5 minutes on front and 2 minutes on sides when at gym.0 -
I just held for 2.5 minutes today. Doing a 30 Day Challenge with end goal 5 minutes. Feels great!0

Depends on the day, usually 4-5 mins.0

I can do 1 minute 45 seconds. Maybe longer but boy am I shaking when I'm done, lol.0
