Seeing as I have a variety of glasses which all hold different amounts, thought I would check
that I am drinking enough. When I googled it, all I could find was answers in ounces, which
I don't fully understand.
would really help to know what glass size, in ML, we should be using,
OR
alternatively what the 8 glasses should amount to in ML (or liters/litres)
thanks guys

A cup of water is 250 ml, hence 2000ml for 8 cups0

I believe an 8oz glass is just under 250 ml, so 8 glasses would be 2000ml (or is that 2 liters)?0

I believe the 8 glasses is equivalent to 64 oz, or 2000 mL. the water "requirement" of MFP is really just a guideline, really you only need to drink enough water so that you're not thirsty and so your pee is pale or clear. I can drink up to 3000 mL but I sweat a lot during my workouts and get really thirsty.
eta: already answered before I could get to this. to another poster, yes, 2000 mL = 2 L0 -

Hi
My suggestion is to buy yourself a measuring cup that also has oz and ml metrics. My Pyrex has one. I use it every day
Good luck in your journey0 -
Thanks guys -
2 liters it is then
I live in an egyptian village so buying something that shows ounces as
well as mls is a difficult task - drives me nuts sometimes LOL ! :frown:0 -

that's neat! or frustrating for you I guess.do you ever order things online? I have a nalgene bottle that shows oz and mL, I really like it. I am sure there is a listing somewhere for one that ships internationally. it cost me 10 USD so it wasn't too bad at all.
