Insanity again

Hi everyone,

I am starting Insanity again after a month and a half of laziness. I'm very excited to get back on track. It is so insane what a month without exercise does to your body. Back on track.

Yay!

Cheers ! I've been really strict on my diet ! Well strict compared to my usual diet of fatty foods and several takeaways a week !! Nutrition is key I think !! And I had pretty much no prior exercise history past high school and it has physically broken me and rebuilt me in 2 weeks feel much better for doing insanity !!

It seems like there have been some real successes with Insanity. I have tried the program but have not seen any weight loss and this bums me out. I cannot quite figure out what I am doing incorrectly and it does get a bit discouraging. I have better lung capacity and probably cardiovascular, which is a good thing, but i really would like to lose a good amount of weight. For those that have found success with the insanity program, did you follow the program as it is specified or did you tweak it a bit? I am thinking about starting the program up again in about a week. Any advice?

That's fantastic; I've done the Insanity program in the past and now incorporated it with my P90X training. Wishing you the best of luck and I hope you stay motivated.

Thanks so much for the motivation. Like, Webbo20, it's a love/hate relationship, in a good way of course. I did only one month and started the second but never completed it. I did tone up, but did not lose much weight, but when you are toned, you feel so much more confident. I really can't wait. Will post my results at the end.

TheEffort, is P90x only weight training?

So far I have followed it exactly besides having to take 1 day off for injury but I just continued where I left off ! Also I think my drastic change of diet has helped ! I always try to keep my metabolism boosting ! Try never to feel hungry and never turn to snack food just fruit and yoghurt ( healthy ) as snacks and have meals consisting of alot of protein healthy fats and carbs and u should be a o.k having said this I am in no way a fitness guru this is the first time out of 3 different attempts to shed weight that its actually started working for me ! I've gone from a 3000 calorie+ maintenace to 1600 and insanity 6 days a week and it has done the trick also feel healthier all round no tiredness no headaches no hunger pangs no stomach aches ! I'm done with fast food I'm sure of it !!
