Hi My name is Mary.
Im 18 years old,
I am 5 ft 5 and weigh 61KG this is the heaviest i have ever been in my life. I used to always be 55-56kg but its just shot up over time. I want to get back to being 50kg because that was when i felt beautiful and proud of my body.
I used to be really good with my food and exercise.. from the age of 7 i was playing football once a week, swimming once a week, rugby once a week and horseriding everyday.
I did this for 6 years non stop than when i turned 14 i slowed down heaps.. i still jogged every night from 8pm till 9pm doing 100m sprints and than jogging and atleast 50 sit ups and push ups every morning. Than after that it just deteriorated.. and i became very lazy.. (moving to a HOT! country didnt help either!)
i went back to UK and lost 10KG (mostly from stress) but i also think the weather had something to do with it... i find it easier to lose weight in the cold than in the heat! than i moved to Australia and put it all back on!
I hate feeling **** about my body but at the same time i don't have any motivation to get me to go out and lose it! i used to get motivated by looking at pics of girls with amazing bodies and tell myself that i will look like that soon! but than after a week or so i'll slowly go back to my old ways..
im getting married on october 14th and i have my dress and its a little tight. i want to look perfect on that day and i know its not going to happen like right now but im just wondering what i can do to do that little bit extra..
i've so far cut out rubbish food (crisps, chocolate, biscuits etc)
im drinking a glass of COLD water every 2 hours and starting from today im going to be jogging with my dog every evening and doing 50 sit ups and push ups a day..
thank you for reading.

Thanks for sharing!! Start tracking everything you eat. Make a goal of eating 1200 to 1500 calories a day with a net goal of 1200 calories (calories minus exercise). Also try eating more fruit and vegetables to trim inches but be sure to eat protein at every meal. Best of luck!!0

Welcome Mary, I packed on around 13kgs after I stopped smoking and have since cut that down by 7kg. One thing I will suggest is if you want to loose the weight for good do not look for a quick fix, take your time with the weight loss.
I fluctuated up and down for two years trying all sorts of different fad diets and diet pills, I won't mention brands but for me they did not work. cutting your intake massively is just a setup for failure.
Understandably you will want to loose it fast for your wedding but I suggest looking for a more long term solution after your wedding.
Also check out the fitbit flex, I have had this for about a month and have found it EXTREMELY motivating.
Good Luck!0 -
