I have released a total of 114.6 pounds (from 270 pounds to current 155.6. GW 145.).

I have gone from a 3x/4x shirt to a size medium shirt (and some size small dresses!), and from a size 24-26 jeans to size 4-6 jeans. Everything depends on cut of course. Silly clothes.

48 pounds took me from a US size 12 (slightly snug) to a comfortable US size 4. I wear size small in clothes, but if the brand runs small I wear a medium in pants. Dem hips.

    80lb lost
    Started at 16/XL
    Currently 4-6/S
    (US sizes)

And I'm over the moon! :D
  • I am 5'7" and have a large bone structure. I started at 235 lbs and a very tight 18 women's/ XXL top. I've lost 64 lbs and I'm down to a size 12 (some brands are still tight) and a size L top.

Started at 265 wearing a size 22-26 depending on the item.
    Usually 2xl shirt.

    Now, averaging 150 lbs.
    Usually a size 6.
Small or medium depending on the brand/cut etc.

I still don't feel comfortable in my clothes so I tend to wear them a bit looser.

0 sizes - 36lbs... getting annoyed, but it is certainly saving me money not being able to buy new clothes!
  • I am 5'2", I started at 275lbs wearing a size 24 bottoms and 2XL top. I am now 213lbs (62lbs lost). I am down to a size 16/18 bottoms and XL/ L top depending on brand.

I went from a size 22 to 12 and am down 125lbs. I will probably be a ten (pardon the pun) when I reach my goal.

At my highest weight, I was a size 18 and Xlarge. I am now a small and sizes 6-8, depending on the cut.
  • I've lost 20 lbs and 3 inches. I haven't tried smaller pants, but I was a 24 and I might fit 20/22. I mostly wear drawstring 3X pants, but I noticed I fit into 2X just fine now. I'm gonna drop a few more sizes before buying new clothes.

Around 88 lbs, and 6 sizes.
  • The bigger you are, the larger loss it takes to go down a size, generally.
Yep! 40-50 pounds might be two sizes, but then when you get smaller it may be only 10 pounds.

Composition makes a big difference in sizing too, ie where you carry your weight.
  • My body hates me, lost 37 lbs and I've went from a 16 to a loose 14 or a 12 in old navy jeans.
  • I was beginning to need a 38 in pants when I started changing my lifestyle, now I fit relatively comfortably in a 34! Been fitting into that for a little while already so I'd say it took me roughly 15lbs, can't remember exactly at which point it was.

For pants I've gone to a 20 (I guess I was wearing 18 but could hardly fit in there anymore at my maximum weight) to an 8 from the same brand, lost 60 lbs. The 8s are a little bit tight still though (I have a muffin top). It's US size, Lee brand. Other brands are all over the place.

For shirts, from XL to M, I don't think I'll ever fit in S as I have a large frame.

I've lost a little over 50lbs (in maintenance now) and went from a size 14 jean, to a size 2 (Abercrombie and American Eagle). Tops went from larges to xs or smalls. Bra went from a 38B to a 34A and shoe size went from a 9 to an 8 or 8.5 lol. It still boggles my mind that I've gone from size 14s to size 2s in less than a year, but I'm very pear shaped and carried the majority of my extra weight in the bum/hip area.

The pants Im wearing in this picture are a size 2, but I need to lose about 5-10 more pounds before I would wear them in public. I was just goofing around that day to see if they fit.
