60 second Healthy fruit spread
60 second Healthy fruit spread
1 cup of berries (any type - frozen also work well)
1 tablespoon Chia Seeds (a superfood with tons of really healthy ingredients)
1 teaspoon honey
Blend all ingredients to a smooth paste - I do it in my Magic Bullet and then store it in the small jar I made it in.
Place in refrigerator to thicken. The chia seeds become jelly-like when wet giving the spread a jam type consistency.
Note: you could add some Splenda if you want it sweeter. Personally I like it without.
