Lifting with yesterdays aches?

Hey all,
I'm doing a mix of 30 day shred and kettlebells, I was wondering though;
Is it okay to do weights everyday regardless of the aches from yesterday, or do I need to let the muscles rest??
Also did anyone notice the shoulders clicking when they started kettlebells? It's not painful, just clicks when I raise the weight above my head.

Thanks guys :) new to lifting so sorry if these questions are obvious to you!

    My shoulders click when using KB or lifting above my head, doesn't hurt and it's been happening forever so nothing to worry about..UNLESS yours hurt..but if you ache, it's great to workout, after a few minutes the aches go away. But if its proper pain then I would rest but aches are fine.

    In my experience, there's a difference between, "I'm sore but it'll be fine once I've warmed up" and, "My body needs a day to recover".

    Most days of the week I'm a bit achey from something. After about 3 days in a row I tend to take one off to recover, although if I'm still feeling good then I won't. However, after an especially long run last month I wound up taking an extra day to rest because I honestly needed it.

    In a nutshell, listen to your body. Don't use being a little sore as an excuse not to exercise if you're feeling unmotivated. But at the same time, don't push yourself to the point where you're not getting as much out of your workouts as you could be because you didn't give yourself time to recover.

    As for clicking, I don't know about shoulders but my knees tend to do it a fair bit. I don't really take it as a cause for concern though.
