Thank you all so much! It's given me a massive boost to see all your encouraging comments, and I'm really glad I could inspire some people too.
I've done crash diets before and lost the same amount of weight in about 3 weeks and looked exactly the same as before, just goes to show that doing it slowly is the right way!
Here's to the next 12lbs - and good luck to you all on your body changing journies xxx0 -
you look great keep up the good work and thanks for sharing.0

Actaully, a bigger difference than I would have thought for 12lbs. Great Job and keep it up!!
I think so too! I didn't think 12 lbs would make that much of a difference... but you sure proved me wrong! Great job and congrats!!! :flowerforyou:0 -
A huge difference for 12lbs - well done you!
I find this inspiring as 12lb would take me ages to lose.0 -
WAY TO GO!
KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!0 -
Good job! Can I ask what exercises you are doing? Or just calorie deficit?0

Good job! Can I ask what exercises you are doing? Or just calorie deficit?
Just calorie deficit pretty much. I did a little exercise at the beginning but I have dodgy knees that did NOT like me doing much more than just walking after having a baby and gaining lots of weight! My plan is to start back up with the exercise when I am a bit lighter so it will be kinder to my knees.
So yeah - just sticking to 1600-1800 ish calories a day (I'm 5'9") and not cutting anything out, just making sure I'm sensible with portions and try to get plenty of veggies.0 -
Well done, 12lbs and thank you for posting, every pound makes a difference. You look great, good luck for the next 12lbs.0

Thanks! Wow, that is impressive. I am eating at a deficit (1700-1800 with my breastfeeding calories added in) but still gaining. I usually watch what I eat but I have ice cream and snacks sometimes. No candy, pop, or drinks. But I still gain.0

Here's my progress pic - I've noticed it in my face and the way my clothes are fitting, but not really in my body until I did this side-by-side comparison!0
