Is this a video you can buy? Looks like what I need.0
-
I believe it is part of the P90X program0
-
I don't know if it is the one that you can buy. But I did it and I did kind of whimp out on a few of the ones. especially the last one... But I did that one at a slower pace. I'm going to do it at least 3 times a week. The guy says not everyday... But It says if you do them all it is like 349 crunches... Wow.0

Darn, can't get to the link, but from what you are all saying it does sound like Ab Ripper X from P90X. If you get thru the whole thing it is 355 crunch type exercises; 25 reps of about 13 exercises! It is a progam that I followed from December to June, quite good. some people find the ab exercises hard on their back, so sometimes have to modify. I find it really worked my quads, they are really core exercises, not just abs.0

Caravan....
You did this program...could someone of average fitness manage to do it? I have thought about it for a while but have never got to an extremely high fitness level (at least not in a few years). I tried the regular P90 but just got so bored.0 -
ChubbyBunny:
It is considered extreme program. but because you have dvd's, you can push pause any time you want, and do it at your own pace. Plus there are 3 levels to it. Bored, nope, not with the X. Everyday it is something different,. and every 4 weeks it changes (just as you get comfortable). I found my fitness really improved. you get to do a fit test before you start and then again after 90 days, and my results were really good. Was able to do most pushups on my toes (instead of knees), wall sit (squat) went from 1:20 to 4:00. My running times even improved, but not by leaps and bounds. I am 52 and have been told (by a gym trainor), that I am in amazing shape for my age. Days alternate between resistance training and cardio with a yoga day thrown in (dreaded as it is quite long, but very beneficial) Cardio is interesting with Kenpo (like a martial arts), and plyometrics (you really suck air here), but every exercise can be modified to suit the individual. Hope this helps. If you need any more info, I would be glad to help.0 -

There is also some tae Bo too.0 -
Thanks for the link, I'll give it a go tonight.0

Does this burn calories by the way or is it just a strenght exercise?0
-
I have heard that when you build muscle you burn fat. I did the kardio today and It was great.. I logged It as aerobics. But I can see where you will need a separate cardio with the weight ones. But I have a lot of weight to loose. Good luck.. Melissa0
