I agree with everything he's saying. Going too far is going too far, no matter what the goal.

that is about the stupidest blog post i've ever read. ask anyone who has done something worth doing in fitness or sports and they will agree with every last one of those points. this seriously reads like someone jealous.0

There's a HUGE difference between pushing out one more rep when your muscles are tired and trying to do one when you're visiting snap city.
I've read this idiot's blog and read it over and over. He's a dope.
EDIT: Your/You're/Yore0 -
#5 is an exceptionally "missing the point" entry.0

I do agree that "fitspo" is no better than "thinspo". It's all unhealthy. People don't need to be shamed into wanting to get fit or shamed for not being fit enough. No matter how far we go, there will always be some stupid meme out there telling us we're not good enough.0

I agree to a certain extent. When fitspo replaces thinspo, but in an unhealthy manner, such as "skinny girls only look good in clothes" and "MUSCLES = SEXY" I do agree that it is just as bad. However, for me personally, fitspo has aided my ED recovery. I admit that, while I am still triggered by seeing a woman with a flat stomach, I no longer crave skinny legs and a protruding ribcage. I see pictures of all you healthy, strong women here on MFP and fitspo on the internet, and it makes me want to eat to fuel my body and exercise to look the best I can look. It's a very individual thing, though, as some people may only feel inferiority when looking at such images. I get inspired to make my body as healthy and fit looking as I can
For someone not actively seeking to eat healthily (i.e. ED behaviour), I can see why fitspo would be the same as thinspo. The only difference is that you put muscle instead of bone on an unattainable pedestal that aids your mental illness0 -
I don't disagree with #2, #5, or #6. The only one that's off putting is number #4 saying crawling and puking is acceptable. What.
I actually love #5 and think this blogger totally missed the point. They're not "skinny", they are fit. There is a difference, IMO.
I think "Don't Stop Until You're Proud" is a great motto, as well.0
