How much did you lose the first week of going low carb?

  • Just 2 lbs, but keep in mind I'm a woman and I only have <20 lbs to lose. Are you thinking about going low carb?

    I lost 6lbs on the first week, 4 on the second and between 1-2 since then.

    I think I may have lost about 5ish pounds. It was mostly water weight though, but still, it felt awesome to see the scale FINALLY start to move.

    I lost 5 lbs. Of course, at 210, it didn't really show, but it gave me the mental boost to know I was finally onto an eating plan that worked and was satisfying (primal/paleo and <100g carb/day).
  • I didn't weigh myself as I was doing it more to try and control my IBS than as a 'diet'. However going low-carb and cutting out wheat/gluten and sugar/refined carbs, I have lost 10lb in roughly two months.
