Although I love bacon, I eat cheese more often, have to say goodbye to the bacon!

Cheese. Not that I eat either, I eat cheese sometimes so that would have to be my choice.

BACON... all the way. I can eat a burger without cheese but its gotta have bacon. You can't have a BLT without bacon. Wakey Wakey, eggs and bacey would lose its meaning and wakey wakey eggs and cheesey just doesn't work. :grumble:

I do like bacon, but I'd have to say cheese - bacon is pretty much bacon whereas cheese......

    grated and grilled
    stirred into sauces
nutty emmental or creamy gouda or smokey Bavarian cheese all in convenient slices
    zingy red leicester
stinky French cheese of all descriptions (on explosively crusty French bread *drools*)
    pan fried halloumi
I even had fried cheese in Italy once - heavenly!
    Paremsan on my pasta
cream cheese in sandwiches or stirred into risotto
ricotta for making gorgeous luxury desserts
Wensleydale with oatcakes and chutney - or better yet, proper crumbly Orkney cheese like Grimbister MMMMMMMMM
    Paneer cooked in spicy spinach

    Really! No contest!!!!!

ETA How could I forget Mozzarella!!!!! No more pizza! No more caprese salad!!!!!! :brokenheart: NOOOOOOOOOOOO take the bacon, give me the cheese!

Cheese is more versatile. I'd keep cheese.

Cheese of course, without cheese the ripple effect is easy too big for my liking ( no pizza, lasagna, cheesecake).

There is Turkey bacon after all.

Now if the question was meat vs cheese, then meat would win.

If you had to pick one to eliminate from your life for ever, which would you choose to KEEP, bacon or cheese?

I refuse to choose. When I get home I will prepare a giant grilled cheese & bacon sandwich instead.

You can drink Port with Stilton. Port doesn't really "go" with bacon. I rest my case
  • CHEESE!!!!!
