My favorite is "Belletoile" Triple Cream Brie, Product of France. What's your favorite French (or not French) cheese?

I really love goat cheese. Your brie sounds delicious, too!0

Ahh...Cheese. I love just about any cheese there is, but if I *had* to pick a favorite I'd go with Smoked Gouda. Or Goat Cheese. Or Mozzarella...Hell, I love anything but pepper jack.0

Brie de meaux
Feta
Old Bruges
Emmental0 -
I love cheese! Favourites are probably Brie and Camembert0

Port salut
Brie
English cheddar with caramelized onion
Smoked gouda
Feta
Mizithra!
And goat cheese on pizza right out of the oven is the bomb!0 -
Any. I just really love cheese!0

Denmark's Finest Havarti with roasted pepper and onion in it. Incredible.0

Among the triple creams, St. Andre with green grapes, a good baguette, and a nice dessert white.
How can one possibly name all their favorite cheeses when one has not yet tasted every cheese in the world? What a friend we have in cheeses!0 -

I'm a big fan of baked brie but I like a lot of the stinky cheese too. However, goat cheese, I just can't get behind. It tastes just like the animals smell and that plays havoc my brain.0

Applewood smoked. Well lush!0

How about camembert? I can't get past the smell long enough to try it.0 -
Bump! I'm hosting a wine and cheese party on Friday. I need ideas!0

Camembert. But they used to have raw milk ones that were way better... but either way, the best brand is Le Rustique, IMO.
The big goat cheese logs... name evades me.
Saint Marcellin (small flat goat cheese)
Charolet (dry goat cheese)
Roquefort
Epoisse
Munster (not the horrible processed stuff you find here... it's very strong and stinky)
Pierre Robert (it's a kind of Brie, like Saint Andre, which I like too)
Caprice des Dieux. Last time I found one at Wegman's I ate the whole thing in one sitting...
Chaume for a milder taste.
Saint Nectaire and Reblochon are delicious too.
The Ile de France cheese is actually not that great, IMO. But again, I'm French... and I love cheese. I used to buy 3-4 kinds and just eat a ton of it on baguette. Yum...
ETA: Raclette! The raw milk kind, melted on potatoes... so delicious.0 -
I've never, never, had any cheese I didn't like.
It's a problem. :ohwell:0 -
