How to count jog/ walk combos?

I've started (as of today) to do a walk jog combo, but I can't seem to find how to track that. I've seen it on other people's counters, so there must be a way.
Any recommendations?
thanks!

I just go by Avg speed0

I need to know this as well, because as I get on the running bandwagon, I need to take breaks when I run.0

I have a HRM, so I just make up my own category. However, you can estimate by knowing how much of your time you spent at each activity and recording one time for walking at the correct pace and one pace for jogging. If your jogging isn't fast enough to be considered a run (1 think it is 4.5mph on here) then log it as a faster walk at the correct pace.0

I just calculated calories burned while watching TV, and with 60 minutes of TV, as a person of 160 lbs, I would burn 76 calories! Seriously? That can't be right.0 -
I do the walk/jog combo. I just log the minutes jogging and the minutes walking.0

I only log my walk/job combos when i'm on a machine. So if on the treadmill, I make sure I run/walk the same amount of minutes. ex: total work out 20 mins. I'll run 10 and walk 10 even if I break it up every 5 minutes it still has to total 20 mins. When I'm done I make sure I note how many calories I burnt. When I log it, I make sure that it's equlivant to what I actually did. You might have to adjust the calories but that' ok as long as you're capturing exactly what you burnt.
Hope that helped. Good Luck0 -
Thanks everyone!0

If you are tracking your distance and time you can figure out your average speed and use it that way.0
