"For those of you that incorporate cheat meals into your diet plan, here are 3 rules you must follow in order to prevent these meals from being detrimental to your progress.
[Check out the program that thousands of ladies are using to get lean and toned in 12 weeks! http://bit.ly/13sZFrS]
Rule 1
Never cheat when you are hungry - you're going to be far more likely to really overdo it if you're starved, so always have your good food first.
Rule 2
Always make sure that you include a good source of protein with your cheat meal.
While you can have the food you are craving, stick with something like a piece of chicken or fish on the side. This way, you will do less damage to your body since your muscles will still have received the protein they need. Always be sure to eat this protein first.
Rule 3
Make sure that you're also making this a 'cheat meal' and not a cheat day. You aren't eating anything you want for ten hours at a time, but instead you are having one food that you particularly want. If it's cheesecake you're craving, have one slice. If it's spaghetti that's been calling your name all week, have one cup.
After that, your cheat meal is done until next time, and you must immediately get back to the Lean Body foods. Deal? "0 -
I indulge in a cheat meal. It used to be once a week for a full day, but since then I've scaled it back to a good meal, 1-2 times per month. It helps keep me sane, to be honest; sometimes you just need to look forward to a good meal that you know is bad for you but you enjoy it. One "bad" meal is not going to undo several days of hard work any more than one "good" day of eating would undo several days of bad food/lifestyle choices.
A lot of people contest this and it seems to be a hot topic in the food choice arena, but considering I've taken off 79lb., I can safely say that it's working for me.0 -
