Should I measure my whole wheat pasta before or after I have cooked it?

Yeah I do it before0

It depends on the packaging. The label on the pasta I use indicates one serving is 2 ounces dry weight, so I weight it before.0

If you can, weigh before. But I usually cook an entire box for the week, and I've determined that roughly 2 oz dry pasta equates to 4 oz cooked. I may get a lot of feedback on this, since pasta takes on moisture at different rates, depending on the type, and cooking time. So this is what I've determined specifically for Barilla Plus Penne, cooked as per the instructions. However, I use this ratio for all pastas. Good luck.0

I've always gone with 2 oz dry means 1 cup cooked0
