VICTORY! 50 pounds gone!

I got on the scale this morning and I am officially 50 pounds down!
I started on MFP a while ago but I only logged my weight. I had lost 30 pounds but was at a stall. So I started to log calories in January. Since then I have lost another 20 pounds. I have 22 pounds to go until I hit my goal weight.
I started my journey in September 2011. I've fallen off the wagon a couple of times, even put 15 pounds back on at one point. I stayed at the same weight for several months which was frustrating but the scale is finally moving again.
It took me 3 years to put on 70 pounds... I figure it's going to take that long to get it off.
At my biggest I was 232 pounds and a size 20/1x. I am now 182 and wear a size 16/xl both of which are starting to be a bit big. I'm 5ft 6in.

Congratulations, doesn't matter how long it takes as long as you get there.
Slow and steady wins the race - I see this as a life change not a temporary diet.

I've had the same issues, but I figure I'm in for the long haul. It took me years to put the weight on, and this is a lifestyle change, so for me it will take me a year to lose the extra 50 pounds I'm carrying.0
