    I thought I would post something for the relationship. Since everyone here seams to be dissing even the Idea.

    I met my husband over a Online video game. In 2006. I was 18. We were friends for two years, during that time, I moved out of my parents, got my own apartment, worked a factory Job, Payed for college on my own, I was a responsible adult. During our friendship, I learned he was a game developer, designing video games for a living, but had spent many years trying to follow a dream he once had to be a Writer. He had postponed getting a girlfriend until he was financially stable enough to afford one, and the family he wanted. Despite the fact that he IS 19 years older than I am, and that my parents didn't like the idea. We started Dating Online soon after I turned 20. A few plane trips, over a 1000 mile gap; and a move that far, We were married just after my 21's birthday... and just before his 40th.... That was 4 years ago. During that time, My husband has continued to Work on Video games, FROM HOME. I have been a stay at home wife during that time, waiting for my children. I have spent the last 5 years, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, with my husband. During that time, we have lost one baby, and struggled to conceive again... Even though THAT sorrow and hardship, there is one thing that stands out; I have never been happier.

    Age is just a number. What matters is weather or not he makes you happy.
    True, a relationship like this may shatter and burn... But can't any?
    ANY relationship has the potential to be good or bad.

    I agree with the other posters that something doesn't smell right with this guy. He has too many "glamorous" and demanding jobs.

    That said, I married a 30 year old man when I was 18. I was madly in love with him and we had 3 kids together. And guess what? It ended badly. Very badly. Cops and restraining orders badly. I hate to say this, but a man of that age who is interested in a girl your age may very well have some serious issues. My ex-husband continues to date women far younger than him. He does it because a much younger woman is easier to *control*.

    You're an adult. You can do whatever you want. But take things slow and be really careful.

    ETA: I'm going to go take a Crying Game shower now. I feel so dirty for feeding the troll.
