Welcome all new and returning participants!!! I've got everyone updated that has chimed in so far! *PHEW* A lot of activity right away!! :bigsmile: I love it though. Any time you want to see how you're doing as far as being on track to make goal or how everyone* is doing for that matter, just check out the spreadsheet at the link listed ^above^. There are a couple tabbed pages. Go to the Oct one. There are also other cool pages you can check out if you want to get your "Geek On!" with stats & graphs! (Summary and others)
I typically post a lot and try to make lots of comments and help encourage everyone, but I also like when others pitch in and do so too! :drinker:
I managed to get out for a little walk over lunch today to get myself on the board with 1.4 miles. Many more to come! :happy:
Good luck and if there's anything we can do to help you reach your goal, just ask! I've occasionally been known to poke and prod and nudge if I think you need it, but hopefully you'll take it in the spirit with which it was intended. I want to see everyone hit their goals or at least come as close as humanly possible.
If you want to know if you're "on track" to make your goal, check out the spreadsheet.....and if your "Goal%" is a FESTIVE LIME GREEN....you are currently maintaining the right pace to make it in a steady fashion. If you get a little behind, you will need to move "extra" to catch up. The bottom end of the green bar moves up 3.23% per day. So multiply your goal by 0.0323 to figure out how many miles a day on average you need to move to keep up without having to do a wild, crazy-eyed, arms-a-flailing, Herculean effort the last couple days of the month to make goal. :laugh:
