Don't lie, you workout to grunts.

    I'm usually listening to rock/punk/metal.

I go with mostly alternative rock or metal. Although I mix in a dash of country now and then. I'm just an enigma lol
  • My music taste varies too widely to report it; I get most of my music from youtube/mp3-rips though.

When people ask in general I say 80s rock; I hate all country but Outlaw Country, the old cowboy stuff that makes me want a shot

of bourbon with a steak and hash brown dinner....

brb going to store while listening to Marty Robbins.
  • a lot of mine is upbeat country with some pop mixed in.

If you like country "Two Step" by Laura Bell Bundy makes me wanna shake my *kitten*
  • Tool , Baroness, Tool, Prodigy, Tool, Pendulum.. But mostly Tool

I switch between hard rock or the 80s. Just depends on my mood and what my workout plan for the day is.
  • Its tough but it's usually NSYNC or Backdoor boys. Sometimes 98 --where the f@#k is the degree sign? Don't judge me.

Lifting - 90s-early 2000s rap... Biggie, DMX, Tupac, old Wu Tang, old Dre, Busta Rhymes, G-Unit

Cardio - Oh right, I don't do cardio. On the rare occasion I actually get on the elliptical or treadmill, I'll stick to dubstep. I want that hell of running to be over as soon as possible, so I'll push harder so I can turn that crap off.

Trail running - Birds, trees swaying, and me swearing because I'm running.

It's all good. Sometimes I throw a little Boyz II Men on in the locker room to get my swoon on.
  • I love to workout to hard rock... Avenged Sevenfold, Nonpoint, Marilyn Manson, Disturbed

depends....when lifting, 80's hair bands, when riding the bike, swing gets me pedaling and when running usually banjo music, like Old Crow Medicine Show..there's something about hearing banjos that makes me run faster....lol

Went walking yesterday and listened to a St. Vincent album and then David Grisman/Stephan Grapelli live album. So basically weird art hipster and then French hot jazz/bluegrass cross.

Lately it's been fussy baby noises, but I prefer silence. Unless I'm running or something and then I like Breaking Benjamin

When I walk/hike/bike with my fiancé, no music. Or when I bike alone no music (for safety). Swimming, whatever's on...usually 80's pop

When I walk or jog I listen to mostly rap, hip hop, dance music. That is the only time I like rap and hip hop though.

Dancing, stretching, or cleaning house/chores...I just throw on Pandora, indie and electronic music mainly and Japanese or K pop

My Spotify playlist for lifting is the usual suspects - RATM, Rammstein, SOAD, Misfits, Black Flag/Fugazi etc etc - with the odd Beastie Boys/Bouncey/Kanye to break it up.

But mainly I like all the loud shouty things.

    I workout to silence.

Impossible at my gym. The whole place is an open area with 3/4 walls seperating the rooms. So, if I don't have my headphones on and listen to my iPod (on shuffle), I have to listen to the Body Pump instructor sing along with all the music she plays. She is not a good singer.

ETA: I have a very eclectic taste in music, so my playlist can be all over the place. I can be listening to Moby, followed by RATM, followed by Ben Folds, followed by Beck, and House of Pain,

Something out and out aggressive. Usually Botch if it's metal or Surgeon if you're talking 'dance' music.

Any Whitehouse fans? Now that would make great workout music, if you class it as music that is!
