Are the Insanity cardio exercises already available somewhere to choose when doing the daily myfitnesspal exercise diary etc?

  • To clarify, what is the best way to record the Cardio of Insanity in the Exercise tracker here?

Probably not. I am doing P90X and I had to add my own. I wear a heart rate monitor that tells me my heart rate and also how many calories I burn. You can either add "Insanity" for your exercise or you can get specific and use "Insanity - Cardio". Then you just have to enter your duration and calories.

Workout DVDs are not included in the MFP database. When I do P90X and Insanity, I used a HRM and created my own exercise and gave it the same name as the workout DVD. Then I just logged the time per the video and the cals per my HRM and I was good to go. If you don't have a HRM, then I would say high-impact cardio for Insanity or circuit training for P90X weights.
