is it just me or am I always killing thread? Lol! seems like everytime i comment on a thread, and I don't do often, It just kinda seems stop there lol! what am I doing wrong?

(this is only half joking. Lol! I'm really a killer off anything forums but if you couldn't tell I'm just incredibly bored at this crazy hour at work:-)

    I think we tend to only notice the threads we kill and not the ones killed by anyone else. but really, the forum is full, full, full to the brim of dead threads that *we* didn't kill....

    I feel like a serial thread killer too. Participating in forums have always been difficult for me. My social anxiety causes me to second guess everything I type. When people stop responding to a thread I've commented on, I perhaps irrationally feel like it was my fault. I question if I was boring, if I should have worded something differently, if my awkwardness is blindingly apparent, or if people simply don't like me.

    Think of it as an achievement. Some threads need to be killed.

    Also it's the Internet, do you kill conversations in real life? I would be more worried about that :)

    I tend to look only at 'recent posts' and 'my topics'. If others do the same, yours probably isn't seen by many because there are so many threads but only a few that show under recent...I blame that! :)

    I have often thought the same thing about myself!

    Now if only I could find a way to kill some *particular* threads..heh heh...just kidding....but if I never saw another thread on my home page called " Kiss, Lick, bite, shake hands, wave-single-or-not-just-flirt-hot-affair-buddies-nada" I would be a happier camper. Don't those EVER get old? :laugh:
