Hope it's going well for you!

I've already started this as there was a previous post about it at the end of last month! I'm not doing every day though (you're not advised to do it each day) and have done 3 days so far.0

Sure, why not. Will you be posting these weekly? I love Jillian Micheal's<3. Although, I will probably spend 2-3 weeks in level 1 before moving to level 2. Then I'll do the same with level 2 and 3. I'm in no hurry. I'm taking it really slow.0

Me! I'm on day 8, level 1 right now. :-)0

Any tips from the people who have already started?
xx0 -
I started on October 1st so I'm on day 7. This is my first time doing 30DS and I can't remember the last time I worked out before that so it will be awesome to have some support!0

This is awesome - we can all do this together...
Were all of you super sore from day 1? Did you push day 2 anyway??0 -
For those who are just starting, I recommend taking your measurements along with your weight. I didn't do my measurements - I only weighed myself - and I am not noticing a huge difference on the scale but I can tell that I have lost fat (while gaining muscle). I wish I had taken my measurements right from the start so that I could have a clearer idea of my progress.
With that being said, its only day 7 for me and I can already see a difference in my body and feel a difference in my endurance! This definitely works as long as you combine with a healthy eating plan0 -
@want2lovemybody: I was SO sore after day 1, especially in my calves and biceps. I'm not feeling it in my abs as much as I want to. But I did push on to day 2 and I'm really glad I did. By the third day I started to notice that the workout, while still challenging, wasn't kicking my *kitten* QUITE as hard haha.0

I struggled in deciding whether to go 30 days straight or mix it up with other work outs, or do 6 days a week with one rest day. On another forum, someone mentioned that Jillian's advice on her podcast was:
"2 days of 30DS one day cardio 2 days of 30 DS and one cardio then a rest day. She said the name ('30 Day Shred') was more so what her marketing people came up with since each level is meant to be 10 days (just not 10 straight)."
So I think you probably are supposed to include rest days. That means that if the above is accurate, the 30 day shred is not actually supposed to be completed in 30 consecutive days, it just means that you do it 30 times over a course of however long (probably works out to be about 6 weeks I'm guessing, depending on how you space it out).
With that being said, I am stubborn and decided to just go 30 days in a row and then once I've completed that, I will integrate the shred routines into a more sane schedule that includes a rest day to maintain.0 -
Im going to start today0

Today will be day 9 for me but I'm jumping in.0

Yesterday was Day 20 for me and I'm liking the results so far! Enjoy the workout!!0

It's my favorite workout videos ever so I'm in. I will only be doing level 1 (no moving to level 2 for me- too many moves that could send me into back pain if I'm not careful) but did start on 9/30 so this morning was day 6. I do the video Monday thru Friday mornings & then treadmill in the evenings to round out my 50 to 60 minutes of exercise for the day. Rest on the weekends (if cleaning the house is consider resting)!
Nice challenge!0 -
