I would say that sensual engages many senses, whereas sexy engages basically one (at least in regards to the effect women have on men -- or at least on me...)

Sensual seems to imply a degree of class that sexy may or may not on its own.

    Probably doesn't help, but that's my 2¢

I tend to think of sensual as have more to do with feelings, anticipations, and emotions being on the softer more gentle side. But sexy, when compared to sensual, would be more aggressive and visually obvious.

I guess in short...........I really have no idea either lol

    Sensual - Think erotica
    Sexy - Think porn

You and I may be thinking of 'Passion'

... which may be a component of sensual.... these are the type of things to talk about in the after glow, not when I am here eating a bowl of chili listening to Duran Duran... not really in the mood. HAHA

A sensual woman I would want sweaty passionate sex with.

A sexy woman I would want to pound like a Mallard Duck.

thats pretty much what i think to.
sensual to me means like not that totally obvious sex appeal, like you can be sensual in a nice dress and a "come hither" type smile, and that classy sex appeal.
and sexy is like heels, lace, teddy, sexy hair, and a whip! :blushing: well if thats what you're into at least.

Yes this times a thousand although towards the end a Mallard Duck is always nice.

Also FFS I KNEW someone was going to go there lol... Electric Barbarella/Union of the Snake now.

Sensual is more of a personal connection. The chemistry between us, like you feel at peace together, you can share anything. You don't worry about judgement when together, you also have this ability to let each other in. It's that unexplained feeling , or that unexplained attraction.

Sexy is more physical like eyes, lips, and such. Sexy is also habits, the way she sleeps, the way she yells at you when you playfully distracted her while she is trying to get something done. Sexy are external traits; the way she walks, her posture, the way she talks.

But this is how I see it personally.

<.< Surely you have had a lover talk to you afterwards when your heart is pounding so loud your ears ring? The atmosphere is damn near intoxicating...

    ...now about that cheesecake

Interesting view - in fact I would say in that regards a healthy relationship would definitely need BOTH; you might get farther on sensual than sexy but in the long run you need both. JMHO using this definition.

Sensual in my opinion is a way of being... smooth, womanly, soft, affectionate, passionate

Sexy to me is a look, and indescribable thing someone has I believe it's called " je ne sais quoi".. either you have it or you don't

When someone is sexy, they look and act it. It's a visual thing. I'm thinking that I really can't tell what "aura of sensuality" one has until I engage on a personal level.
