Lucky lady - I never win anything at the casino! haha

Did you stay within your nutritional goals? yes I did, even though I was counting cals from 8am-5am....:grumble:

Did I reach yesterday's personal goal? sort of. i had fruit and coffee after work but also some low fat veggie chips from costco... Still stayed under my calories, but not exactly a perfect choice.

What did I do yesterday that I am proud of? I went on a good hike and had lots of healthy snacks and meals. I also stayed within my goals even though I was up for 21 hours straight.

What would I have done differently? I think I did the best with what I had...

What is today's personal goals? Stay awake. Slept from 5am-9:20am and now I'm up once again to face the day. Other than that, stretch and do some push-ups and crunches and get a good night sleep for tomorrow's race at 930am.

Did you stay within your nutritional goals? Yep! Hard not to since I burned over 600 calories yesterday. I ate a TON. Back on track today with a reasonable diet.

Did I reach yesterday's personal goal? Yes! 5km race finished in 29:57!! Felt amazing.

What did I do yesterday that I am proud of? See above  Oh and I ate healthy until about 10pm when I had dessert, then a fruit, then randomly craved homemade chili and had some of that... Ugh! Way too much food. But, oh well!

What would I have done differently? Not eaten so much at night. And had more water. So much coffee yesterday to keep myself awake.

What is today's personal goals? Drink my water and watch how much snacking I do. I am staying in tonight and notorious at snacking when I am home. Perhaps I should go out to read for a while...

exercise weekly progress (Sun-Sat) - 1/7 - 5k run and a 6k+ walk with the boyfriend. My legs are killing me! Stretching and lots of it today...

Hi Ladies! I haven't been on in a while because I was stressing myself out a little bit over not losing any weight and constantly screwing up on the weekends. Well since I last posted here I've lost 3 lbs :) I'm still making mistakes, but slowly I'm learning from them. I've been forcing myself to do at least 45 minutes on the eliptical for about 450 calories burned.

Did you stay within your nutritional goals? Don't really make any, just trying to learn from my mistakes.

Did I reach yesterday's personal goal? I think so

What did I do yesterday that I am proud of? Went for a 30 minute run even though I'm sick and walked to pick up my daughter from daycare :)

What would I have done differently? track my calories

What is today's personal goals? Do 60 minutes on eliptical and/or 600 calories + weights

exercise weekly progress (Sun-Sat) - 2/7 days of exercise

Lessons learned - there are 350 calories in one Jason's Deli cookies, should have looked this up before I ate one!!!! (and a half :blushing: )

All in all I feel pretty good lately, I feel like I really am learning from my mistakes. I focused hard on being good over the weekend and it paid off. Hoping to do the same thing this weekend!

    Thanks Hoosier!
Great job on the weight loss ladies!! Keep it up :D

Did you stay within your nutritional goals? Yes I did.

Did I reach yesterday's personal goal? Ah, no. Not enough water and still snacked at night - grapes!

What did I do yesterday that I am proud of? Hmm... Good question. I ate under my calories without exercise, which is startling. I didn't even think that was possible lol

What would I have done differently? Had my water properly and actually done my crunches and push-ups, which I am going to do now instead...

What is today's personal goals? Ran my 3+ miles today already, going to do my push-ups and crunches and hopefully get in my full 60oz of water. I'm already done 20oz, but I still have a ways to go. Ughhh

exercise weekly progress (Sun-Sat) - 2/7 (Sun-Rest, Mon-race + walk, Tues-Rest + stretch, Wed- 3+ miles, Thurs- 2+ miles, Fri- Stretch + strengthen, Sat- Day trip to USA)

That's super :flowerforyou: I wish I was moving down... I keep losing and gaining the same 3 lbs. I know exactly what I need to do but in a bit of a slump... trying to recover from a summer of eating and drinking what I want instead of making good choices. Thank goodness I kept up with the exercise. The key for me was not to eat all my exercise calories... :noway: Now I just need to get back in the swing of things. Thanks everyone for the support  :flowerforyou:

Did you stay within your nutritional goals? Just barely but way over on carbs and way under on protein - Oh well!

Did I reach yesterday's personal goal? Yes! I did drink loads of water and I did push-ups and crunches until my body ached.

What did I do yesterday that I am proud of? Ran my 3.2 miles without walking  Making progress, even though it's slow going.

What would I have done differently? Eaten less! I can't believe how hungry I get at night. My afternoon snack was much too big and then I ended up eating a lot at night as well. Argh. I need to be more sensible with how and when I use my calories.

What is today's personal goals? 3 sets of the nerdfitness beginner circuit, lots of stretching, and a 2 mile run if the weather permits. Also, stay within my calories and aim for more protein and less carbs. Oh and drink my damn water!
