Im new second day

I started this because I am frustated and will try anything. I hope I can keep it up. I am a mom of two and now that their older as much as I love them I do not want that to be my only identity

    Welcome!! I am somewhat new also. I am a mother of three, and not only want to do this for me...but for my kids too. Good luck to you! It's in your hands, you can do it!

    My children are all young, and I know how you feel about not wanting them to be your identity. Just remember that you need to do this for YOU. Check your BMI, figure out what you want for yourself. When I started this journey, I maintained a 1200 calorie "diet" and worked out vigorously, or as often as my children would let me. As I lost more and more weight, I eased up on my calorie restriction and learned how to maintain.
