when to step on the scale?

What time/how often do you get on the scale? I've noticed that I can change 6+lbs in the course of a few hours.

    I step on it once a day, upon waking. I have experimented and weighed myself throughout the day, and yeah, it can fluctuate greatly.
  • I agree, I always way myself first thing in the morning and treat this as the main weigh in for the day. However, I love seeing how my weight fluctuates throughout the day. I may weigh myself too much!!:smile:

    Once a day. Early morning, just after I get up.

    I step on the scale right after I visit the bathroom in the morning. (Might as well lose those few extra ounces before weighing).

    I weigh myself once a week in the morning after using the bathroom and before eating/drinking anything. Weighing myself everyday did nothing but drive me nuts since its not linear throughout the week.

    Here is what you do:

    Wake up
    Pee/poop
    Get naked
    Weigh yourself.
    Do not weigh the rest of the day.

    Rinse and repeat as many days of the week you like

    I weigh after the morning poop, and then sometimes before bed. The before bed one gives me an idea of what my weight will be in the morning :D

    Never. The scale is not a good way to judge success.
