will I gain a pound of fat? Or is there a limit as to how much food your body can actually absorb in a short period of time?

35,000 would be 10 theoretical pounds, but your body can only process so much so most of it would be wasted and just pooped out.

Next time you have a big feast, plan for it and make it a fun time with good foods, friends and family.

The record for most hot dogs consumed in ten minutes is 69. That's a little over 20,000 calories. If you do that you'll have and extra 15,000 cals that you can spread throughout the rest of the day.

Here is the best result from my extremely unscientific 10-second Google: http://chemistry.about.com/od/biochemistry/a/How-Much-Weight-Can-You-Gain-In-A-Day.htm

It looks like the answer to this question, like basically everything else to do with bodies/food/weight, is: it varies, depending on your particular body and exactly what you eat.

In more urgent news, that burger looks DISGUSTING. It's actually put me off cheese, which is a unique experience in my life. :P
