Small But Balanced--Help?

I'm working on getting in Over 1200Cals a Day. I'd like to get At Least 1400 but Since I've started MFP I Rarely reach the 1200. I plan on switching to 5meals a Day but I don't know how to make them small. I normally eat meals full of Carbs/Starch with a little Protein/Meat but as I've been advised on this site I really need to get in Fruits/Veggies as well.
SO Here's the help I'm asking for. I need Ideas for meals betwen 280-300 Cals that Include All 4 Food Groups. I don't usually eat very much but when I get in an actual Meal it is Huge. I really don't know what a small Meal looks like. If anyone out there knows about this, eats smaller meals, or has any advice Please please Post it here.
