You are standing on a railroad track, on your left is weeds and mud and on your right is a nice bench with flowers around it. You look down the track and see a train coming, you know you can't stop it so you must move off the tracks. Which side you choose is up to you.

You can sit around and worry yourself to death about age or, just except it and move on and make the best of it. I am not accusing you of being freaked out but I don't won't you to be occupied with age and miss out on life.:flowerforyou:

I started getting them at 24, I part my hair on the side so I have a small gray streak in the front. I get compliments on it!!!!!! People tell me it looks more like a highlight. I'm turning 35 next week and I gotta say, it's been on my mind to dye it!!!!

I FREAKED out when I found my first one. I got up on my bathroom counter and started going through my hair yanking out anything that appeared to be grey. My husband laughs at me, but I don't feel old enough to have grey hair. Nothing wrong with grey hair. I think it is quite beautiful on some people...JUST NOT ON ME, yet.

I am with you on this one. Grey, grey STAY AWAY!!!

I will be coloring mine if I start noticing more!

For now that would be my front side where all the belly fat is. Which looks to be the only really flabby area left on me. Woo-Hoo.

My name is Gray...so don't feel bad...My husband and I joke all the time, oh your feeling "gray," All your hair is, "Gray"... Don't forget things aren't black and white, there's a "gray" area! We are stupid, but it's our name, so...

    Gray isn't so bad! LOL

 I got an email from a friend yesterday and this was one paragraph of it "I am so blessed to have lived long enough to have my hair turning gray, and to have my youthful laughs be forever etched into deep grooves on my face. So many have never laughed, and so many have died before their hair could turn silver. " VERY TRUE! CLAIROL is great!

Grey since I was 14. I hate it, but I deal.

As my Granddaddy says, 'It can turn colors as long as it doesn't turn loose.'

I won't really feel old until I find a grey hair down...uhm...there...then the feeling old shall commence.

Thanks everyone for your encouragement. I guess I am just upset about turning 30 next year....lately I feel as if the best years of my life are already behind me and I have no way to get them back.

I turn 31 in two weeks GTO. I'm a little torn about how to feel. I mean, I feel better than I have in years, and I feel far more attractive than I have in an equal amount of time. I have a beautiful girlfriend who is my bestfriend, and my nephew is due in a few months.

On the other hand though, I am going to be 31 years old, unmarried, and renting an apartment. I have no children, and haven't really achieved the goals I have set forth for myself.

Still, it's better than last year, living in my brothers basement, going through a horrendous divorce. My 30th birthday was AWFUL.

So yeah, I know how you feel. It's not the end of the world though, actually I think my 30's are going to be really cool. I hope so at least.

Just wait till your kids point out the white hairs..thats the best.

If it is just one or two, I say yank those babies out. If it is 3 or more..times are changing and it is time to start coloring.
