Whether or not you'll ave loose skin when you lose weight will depend largely on genetics. Did you get loose skin from your pregnancies? If not then you probably won't get it when you lose weight.0

you don't like phentermine?
I think you'll find the vast majority would prefer to do this with Diet and Exercise over a Diet Pill...... Best of Luck0 -
thanks i have tried diet and exercise as my youngest is 2 and i have only lost 10 pounds.. the Dr is putting me on it for a month to see if i can see results0

Um ....most people here won't. MFP is more about making lifestyle changes ..... these are permanent changes that will help you keep the weight from coming back.
Loose skin depends upon many factors ..... genetics, how long was skin stretched, how much was skin stretched, your current age, etc. Many people encourage strength training (while dieting) ....I've read claims that it can help reduce loose skin. Either way strength training is always a good idea....if it minimizes loose skin too....all the better.0 -

welp, your mind is already made up. good luck.0 -

He is being funny because there are a few on the forum that beat you verbally for using phentermine...despite the forum rules for decorum.
As far as the loose skin...the more weight you loose, age (the older you are, the more elasticity you loose), as well as other factors related to your skin like genetics will determine loose skin issues.
My first baby I bounced back pretty well as far as the skin thing, the second baby...not so much. I may put things back where they were after I am done with the weight loss, but too early to tell at this point for me and likely you too.
Good luck with your weight loss and the phentermine.0 -

It astounds me how many people on here love to talk down to people for their choices in weight loss. Just because someone disagrees doesn't mean their option is better, ya know? I was posting a lot when I first started on here, but even in the chit chat section people were just plain mean, so I've mostly stopped.
I do not have much advice on the loose skin, I just saw this thread and was very upset with how you've been "welcomed" to the site, and for that, I apologize on behalf of douchey people. Your question was not about your method of weight loss, but of course they just had to comment on it.
I hope you do find the answers you're looking for, though!0 -
Another thing that I had problems with that you may or may not be having issues with is Diastasis Recti issues as a result of both pregnancies and it made me look as though I was still pregnant. Since I started doing exercises for that, it has helped a bit with the loose skin in my abdomen. I had to do very specific exercises for it...not just typical crunches as well as wear a binder to help heal it.0

Again, you aren't being told what you want to hear.
And crunches don't mean a flat tummy.

I talked to a woman who recently healed from surgery for her loose skin. The one thing she told me she regretted: Not weight training.
She told me atleast 15mins a day lift weights...but we were talking about arms.0
