Other than treats, where I may have just a little for the taste alone, I do both. I eat to get full, but I never eat food I don't enjoy (except for trying new things that might not work out).

Until I'm stuffed, with things I like. Luckily I like vegetables.

I measure out my food so it meets my caloric requirements and fits my macros as best as possible.

If I go out- I often only eat steak and green things- so whatever- I eat as much as I want and dial it back the next day.

I eat to fill requirements.... sometimes I can really enjoy myself... im cutting right now so its the Mr. Clean routine since id rather eat a nice sized portion than moderate with more calorie dense foods...

In general, I like to eat a lot. I'll eat 3-4 cups of vegetables with most meals.

I love how they think there are like what 4-6 servings in a bag of steamable veggies? I dunno what most of htem are- to me a serving size IS the bag- so I don't even bother looking at it. dollop of butter or bacon grease- and I'm happy as a pig in a trough.

    I <3 veggies.

    and bacon.

    and steak.

I like that very full feeling. Intermittent fasting helps me feel that way every day.

I'm a foodie and enjoy my food...I see no reason to stuff myself to discomfort nor do I see any reason to eat like a little birdie or anything...I pretty much eat like...I don't know...normal I guess.

There was a time in my life that I had very few pleasures and way too many stressors that I ate food for the taste mostly for the enjoyment. Medication changes have caused this to rear its ugly head again.

No, I eat till I'm satisfied. I hate that feeling of being full, it's so uncomfortable.

Still not underestanding the question but I mostly eat so I'm not hungry anymore. I don't like being stuffed either.

However if I have a craving I'll eat the thing, hungry or not... as long as it fits in my calories. I'd probably eat way under my goal if I only ate when I'm hungry.

I eat how much i've decided to eat before I eat, I usually put all my foods into MFP in the morning before I have eaten, then when i'm hungry at lunch time, snack, etc, I look what i've put on the 'menu' for the day, usually it isn't enough to fill me, but to satisfy me

    <-- Control freak much?

I've tried to eat to get full and haven't been very successful in doing so, so just go for taste :ohwell:

I don't eat to get full, and I'm not satisfied with just a little tasty food.

For the most part I eat to satisfy my needs. I rarely have an appetite so I have to make sure I am eating enough to stay healthy.

Now that I'm not eating to excess, I don't want to waste calories on food that I don't like. So I make sure that what fills me up also satisfies my tastebuds

Both, but my idea of "full" has changed a lot. Full=satisfied for me now. I don't stuff myself, they are almost the same for me.

I eat meals to get full. I eat things I can eat a lot of for not a lot of calories. It's quanity over quality for me ANY DAY.

Like today for example. BF wanted to go Mellow Mushroom. 1 slice of their pizza is about 400 calories. I knew I couldn't just eat one, so I asked if we could go somewhere that I could get more than a salad and not watch him devour pizza. We went somewhere where I could get a good, full meal for about 500 calories and he was quite satified as well.

Both. If I don't feel full, I haven't eaten enough. Sometimes I haven't eaten enough even when I feel full.
