Hey everyone! what do you LOVE about your body RIGHT NOW?

I just started my fitness journey on Sept. 1st. I'm a total of 17 lbs down (10 before MFP). Obviously, I still have a ways to go.

Right now, I love my thighs and glutes. Getting heavier while having to regularly drag a loaded stroller uphill through gravel did have its advantages.

Even if your body is not what you want it to be yet, there must be something about it you delight in.

    My skin. Ever since I've started eating right, getting regular exercise, and drinking more water, it looks awesome! Now I know what the magazines mean by a 'healthy glow'.

    I love my legs. My quads and hams are pretty solid.

    I love that I am obese, yet somehow I have some ab definition! I have the vertical lines down the sides of my belly, and if I flex a little, I have a baby 4 pack.

    Last week my son's 2nd grade teacher was joking with the kids,and flexed. My darling 8 year old walked by and said "my mom's muscles are bigger" :blushing: So now I guess I have to go to the class Halloween party in short sleeves to show off my biceps ( which ARE quite nice)

  • im gonna say my eyes. just because my whole body hurts from the punishment ive been putting it through at the gym

    I happen to love my cheekbones and collarbone. Something about being able to see them makes me feel womanly

    Right now I'm loving my boobs, haha... breastfeeding for the win! :-P
  • The way my sides curve in between my chest and hips. My waist has gotten smaller so I can really see my hourglass shape coming back.

    I love my hips! After slimming down, I have a whole new appreciation of them. I feel womanly and gorgeous!

    Right now, I love the fact that I am starting to see more and more muscle definition in my legs and my arms, and the flab is getting smaller and smaller :laugh:

    My stomach.

    And that's a pretty big deal for me to say I love it right now :laugh: It's the first time in about 4 and a half years that it's been as flat as it currently is. Still need to strengthen and firm up all those other areas that I currently "like" (my butt and thighs) including my stomach/core, but I'm feelin pretty darn happy about how I'm lookin! :happy:

    I will say that my skin is a lot clearer and my hair has even grown in thicker and longer with eliminating a lot of the junk from my diet.

    Other than that, I like how my face and neck are slimming down and becoming more defined...collar bone is popping out, less Charlie Brown cheeks and double chin, lol.

    I love that as a whole, it simply looks better, feels better and is stronger than last year. Still working on it. My favorite PART right now would have to be my arms. The definition there is really starting to show. :happy:

    I have a love-hate relationship with my legs but right now I need to love them because I'm running my first full marathon on Sunday and they are going to crush those hills in SF!!!!!!!!!!!
