What is an EFFECTIVE yet INEXPENSIVE device I can use to track my exercise?

What do you mean by tracking your exercise? You can log your exercise right here on MFP and/or there are numerous free apps for logging exercise, many of which are exercise specific.0

I was referring to a monitor that you can wear on your arm or wrist....0

I use FitBit Flex (soon to be Force), and Polar H7. They both sync with my iPhone. I use the FitBit app, and the Digifit app. It's a great combo.

There are two basic types: fitness trackers such as Fitbit, Nike Fuelband, Jawbone UP; and heart rate monitors. Fitness trackers typically measures movement like pedometers while HRMs track heart rate. What are you wanting to monitor specifically?
