Any teachers out there?

I am a new teacher and new (ish) to MFP.

I'm looking for people who are good motivators and looking for motivation in return.

I'd like some teacher friends who might show me how they balance work and health, but you don't have to be a teacher to friend me :).

Thanks!

I'll bump this for you! I'm a retired teacher and know, like a lot of jobs, how demanding teaching is. There are lots of teachers on MFP and you will find some who will help you find the balance. I see you are a new teacher, so a word of advice: make sure you take some time for yourself. The job is never done, but you'll be much more effective if you set aside some time for you. It'll make it easier to meet your fitness goals, too! All the best to you!!

Welcome! I used to teach first grade and now I teach at a daycare, working with one year olds (found I like this age much more). It's draining and consuming and I love (almost) every minute of it. Good luck on your journey! It's tough - but hang in there!!!!
