I usually shop at trader joe's- these are my must-have-in-the-house things from TJ's. My shopping list is mostly protein and condiments because I get all my veggies & fruit from a weekly farmshare!

    -mushrooms, sweet potatoes, onions
-frozen salmon burgers & mahi mahi burgers
    -frozen raw marinated soy-ginger cod
    -frozen shrimp
    -island soyaki sauce
-frozen thai gyoza or dumplings - high protein & essential for when a chinese food craving hits!
    -fat free balsamic dressing
    -cranberry walnut gorgonzola dressing
-goat cheese medallions (individual 1 oz portions- I buy them bc if I open a whole log, it goes bad before I can finish it!)
    -quinoa
-smoked trout (tinned- by the tuna)
    -smoked salmon
-light sour cream (so weird, but TJ has the best light sour cream I've ever had)
-baked marinated tofu or plain sprouted tofu
    -eggs & egg whites

Yoplait Greek 100 yogurt - Love it, MUST have!

Whole Grain Deli Rye or 100% Whole Wheat bread, English muffins (100% whole wheat for me, Original Thomas's for Hubby), Texas toast (for Hubby's toast in the morning or his sandwiches), a loaf of fresh Italian or Vienna bread (if I'm making spaghetti for homemade garlic cheesebread), burger buns (white for Hubby, whole wheat for me), taco size flour tortillas, yellow corn hard taco shells (for Hubby) - obviously we like our bread.

Bananas, Mackintosh apples, frozen raspberries or strawberries, navel oranges, peaches, green grapes or some other kind of fruit
1/2 gal. Orange Juice (for Hubby, has a cup every morning)
    100% Cran-Grape juice (for Daughter)
Mixed Berry Nutrigrain (for Hubby's mid-morning snack)
Cashews (for Hubby) & lately I've been getting Emerald 100 Cal pack Cinnamon almonds for me
Deli sliced smoked turkey & smoked ham lunchmeat
    Prego Veggie Smart pizza sauce
Newman's Own Tomato Basil spaghetti sauce & Barilla spaghetti noodles (maybe once a month)
Barilla elbow macaroni noodles, egg noodles (as needed)
    Mushrooms - jar or canned
Canned Petite diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, Original Texas chili beans in sauce, dark red kidney beans (when I plan on making chili or goulash)
Some kind of meat - hamburger, boneless, skinless chicken breast, stew meat, roast, sausage links, bacon, or pepperoni (as needed for pizza)
Baby spinach, lettuce, green pepper, grape tomatoes, onion, cucumber, carrots, celery
Hidden Valley Light Ranch dressing (every two wks)
    Kosher baby dill pickles
Frozen broccoli/cauliflower mix or brussel sprouts
    Lean Cuisines (for just me)
Post Great Grains Cranberry Almond Crunch & plain bite-size shredded wheat cereal (every 2-3 wks to a month)
Shredded cheddar, shredded mozzarella, Kraft naturals colbyjack, Havarti, string cheese, Kraft deli deluxe cheese slices, Mexican velvetta (as needed)
Bite size Tostidoes (for Hubby & my son)
    Hot Pace Chunky Salsa
    Triscuit Thin Crisps
6 pk RC Cola (for Hubby, he can't give it up yet)
Dove Silky Smooth Promises (for Hubby, but I have one occasionally)
Cat food, litter (we have 7 cats)
Taster's Choice single serve & sugar-free International French vanilla coffee (I use it for creamer)
8 O'Clock Columbian coffee K-cups (for Hubby to take to work)
Light sour cream & cottage cheese
1/2 gal. 2% milk (Hubby refuses to drink anything less)
    Large Eggs (every two wks)
    Albacore tuna in water
    Creamy Jif (as needed)
    Seedless blackberry preserves (as needed)
Spicy Deli brown mustard, Plochman's & Heinz Ketchup (as needed)
Kikoman Panko bread crumbs (as needed)
I Can't Believe It's Not Butter Light or rarely, real butter
Russet potatoes, Minute Rice (white for Hubby, brown for me) (as needed)
Butter flavor or EVOO cooking spray, vegetable oil (as needed)
Beef granules & Chicken Bouillon cubes, Lipton Beefy Onion soup mix (as needed)

Plus, every Friday after I shop, I pick up Subway for our dinner. I look forward to it because it's the ONLY time I get to eat take-out.

So there you have it. That's pretty much it besides the occasional New York Strip, T-bones or Ribeyes we get to grill over our firepit, spices & seasonings as needed, white whole wheat flour & yeast for home-baked bread (maybe a dozen times a yr), Dominoes sugar packets & other basic sundries.

Obviously I don't buy ALL of this every week, it varies. But probably 80% of it. o.O This feeds Hubby, myself & our young adult daughter. Plus, my son comes over for dinner w/us once or twice+ a week. :)

Sorry for the tl;dnr long *kitten* post. haha

I have been grabbing all the ripe bananas that are on the manager's clearance to make pumpkin banana bread with.

Some things that are always on my lists:
    Leafy Salad Mix
    Red onions or scallions
Some sort of thin sliced cheese
    Whole Wheat sugar free bread
    Lower-fat Cottage Cheese

And then the seasonal items right now:
    Squash
    Parsnips
Pumpkins when on sale (to puree and freeze so I can have puree all year long lol)

    * Apples (anything crunchy, I'm totally fixated on Snapdragons at the moment)
    * Raw almonds (I doctor them up with some maple syrup and spices and toast them)
    * Almond-Coconut milk (I'm addicted to coconut milk, and the hubs has a thing for almond milk, total compromise)
