Hello MFP,
I have decided to lose weight. My doctor said I am pre-diabetes. I want to lose a least ten to fifteen pounds. My weight is 190. I want to control my intake of sugar and fats. Does anyone know if Myfitness Pal works? Any suggestions I welcome. Thanks. :flowerforyou:

MFP works if you work at it! It's just a tool for you to use to help you stay on track and accountable during your weightloss journey. The best part, for me, is the positive feedback I get from other members. They help keep me accountable and being able to record my food/calorie intake keeps me on track with what I eat. Knowing that others are going to be seeing what I eat makes me want to eat healthy so I can say "see, I had a good day today!"

Welcome!
My Fitness Pal can work amazingly, if you log carefully, and are honest with yourself in how you approach it.
