I need hair advice....

The cut won't be as dramatic b/c the drama in her case is the contrast between the soft front and the edgy back. But you can definitely make up for the drama in the color. The colors you mentioned are perfect. Any great stylist will cut first and then personalize the color for you and your cut. Once that is done you'll have your own theme music when you're walking.:laugh:0

HAHA! Okay here's another issue.....the guy who does my hair usually always colors it first then cuts it....
Which won't help create the drama at all here..... Can I ask him to cut it first then apply the color to emphasis the cut....or would that be rude?
I do kind of like the short back (it kinda like the old shag hair cuts)...I was thinking possibly just a little bit longer in the front on both sides....would that work or make me round again?0 -
Last angle I can find.....

If you want to be sure not to offend him i would "agonize" over the cut. Have him do it first. Then "suddenly" decide to have it colored. :laugh:0

He already knows i want it colored.....and I am kinda agonizing still over the cut.....
can I just say I want to see how th cut looks on me before I settle on color? he's set aside time for a cut and color anyway.....0 -
i agree with the low lights high lights being foiled in i have light hair and i always darken mine i only have to color it maybe 3 times a year. as for shot hair i did that about 18 months ago i hated it to be honest. i had went to ur current style at the time.now mine is long i love it i think my short hair made may face look huge my long hair i think makes it look better. but eveyone is different.0

I wouldn't say my current style is exactly short, but it's not long by any means....and short of blowing a couple thousand on extensions...I either keep what I have (blah) or go even shorter.
I usually do lowlights, but i am wanting some pretty non-traditional ones...I am tired of just darker blondes and light brown....bleck.0 -
Here is my .02
I would take the pic to your stylist (assuming you really trust him/her) and see if he/she can give u something similar but a little longer and more suited for everyday
As much as I love the cut/style...I'm not sure it's something any of us could style and make it look good on a daily bases (w/ out a team of hair dressers each am)
I def say go for an edgier/sexier cut and maybe some lowlights...I think some dark highlights would really pop and off-set your lighter colored hair

Thanks, I am appreciating everyone's input and ideas, feel free to suggest other cuts or colors to me. My appointment isn't til next week but I usually like to go in with a plan.
I agree that the cut may be more labor intensive....however, I am used to shorter hair. I'd just have to use some different products then just straightener and a flat iron.0 -

I think that is a really cute hairstyle! I think it would look good on you! Looks like it would be cut with a razor blade, and I've had my hair razored and I'm not sure if you have or not, but it can hurt some!0
-
Oh I know! It can hurt so bad...I am not sure how he'll cut it but it looks like he may have to razor me.
It's growin more on me.....still short in my mind....but better0 -
Crazy images haha

haha I was trying to put the picture in there, how do you do that?
I thought that was kind of cute and I thought I would share it with you!0 -
I LOVE this cut. Very sexy and edgy. Just my opinion.0 -
you click on a pic and go to it's properties (which is like a web addy), copy that. Then come back here and put [ img ]copied properties[ /img ] (you have to take out the spaces, it wouldn't let me show you otherwise)
You were close. I just learned last night.
I do like the cut, it is longer, so it's an option. The color is pretty too.0 -

I'll take all the opinions I can get, I am struggling with finding my inspiration and that's been the only one to draw me in.0 -

Thank you! I must have had spaces in my originally because I was thinking that was the way to post in boards and such.
Thanks again!0
